And don’t try and call “Iran” over here either. If the Iranians so much as loaded a nuclear weapon the US would reduce their country to a sea of molten glass. They are not a threat to the state of Israel. At worst their support of insurgents makes them a threat to soldiers on the ground. Not a good thing, but not worth losing sleep over.

Unless you’re a soldier on the ground of course…

Anyway. So what is the solution? Well, I really dunno. What I’d like is for all of us to get Megaphone so that when those alerts go out we can join the debates and offer some sort of balance. But the problem is that we aren’t Israeli students living in subsidised housing paid for by the American taxpayer.

And Obama has continued giving aid to Israel despite the continuing financial crisis.

We simply can’t devote the same amount of time to this cause as those who have a vested interest in it.

The best we can do is be educated around these issues, challenge the Geese wherever they appear and battle against what they do whenever an opportunity to do so arises.

There are plenty of websites around that have good advice to offer on how to battle the Geese. Read up, stay aware, and spread the reality of this threat to everyone who will listen.

Because the freedom of speech that the Internet offers is too important to be wasted on any one issue.
